Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Ensuring vehicles are maintained, safe, and clean.
  2. Performing preventative maintenance services with minimal supervision and in a timely manner.
  3. Repairing and troubleshooting major components such as engines, transmissions, and differentials, including replacing complete assemblies, turbochargers, fuel system components, etc.
  4. Keeping your work area clean and safe.
  5. Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with DETROIT, CUMMINS, DD15, and after-treatment systems.
  • At least 2 years of practical experience with truck maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
  • Willing to travel as necessary.
  • Physical ability to move frequently, stand, walk, sit, and use hands to touch, handle, and feel. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally.
