Position Overview

This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of heavy equipment in both shop and field environments.

Essential Functions

1. Safely maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment, including hydraulic systems, power trains, and engines.
2. Maintain and repair electrical, hydraulic, and air conditioning systems.
3. Perform removal, repair, and installation of transmissions, engines, brakes, differentials, pumps, motors, torque converters, final drives, and other heavy equipment systems or components.
4. Repairs and maintenance may be performed in the maintenance shop or in the field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and air conditioning systems, with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
• Must possess necessary hand tools to perform job requirements.
• Ability to lift moderately heavy objects, climb, and stand for extended periods.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must pass a 7-year background check and drug test.
