Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Service Tech I to perform maintenance checks and minor repairs on a range of rental equipment. You will demonstrate equipment to customers and assist with pickup/delivery of gear and parts, while delivering exceptional service daily.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability, with opportunities to advance within the Service Department as you gain experience and demonstrate proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge.
• Superior customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use.
• Report machine condition to Management.
• Perform minor repairs of rental equipment and tools including checking oil, grease, fluids and tagging equipment for rental ready status.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
