Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a Diesel Mechanic/Technician A to inspect, repair, and maintain our diesel fleet including tractors, city trucks, and forklifts. You will troubleshoot components, perform routine maintenance, and rebuild systems when required.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least 6 months of related experience with the ability to pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass background checks.
• Preferred ASE Certification and Diesel Engine Certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain diesel tractors, city trucks, and forklifts.
• Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication, cooling tests, brake adjustments, and tire inflation.
• Repair or rebuild systems as needed to meet service schedules.
