Nexus Staffing Solutions is seeking Diesel Mechanics for oilfield equipment in Odessa, Texas. These roles involve maintaining and repairing cementing equipment, pump units, blenders, and Class 8 trucks for a well-established oilfield company.

Candidates will work a 15/6 rotation and enjoy a variety of hands‑on diagnostic and rebuild tasks. The ideal candidate is experienced in heavy diesel or equipment maintenance and thrives in a dynamic, safety‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of heavy diesel or heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Own hand tools and ability to troubleshoot to component level.
• CDL Class A with tanker endorsement is a strong plus or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR, able to lift up to 65 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair oilfield equipment including cementing and pumping units.
• Perform diagnostic and rebuild tasks on site in a safety‑focused environment.
• Follow maintenance procedures and read schematics to troubleshoot issues.

• Wages: $25.00–$36.00 per hour (based on experience and level)
• $55 per day per diem when working away from home district

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years of heavy diesel or heavy equipment maintenance experience (more for Level II and III)
• Your own hand tools
• Ability to troubleshoot to the component level and read schematics
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
• High school diploma or GED
• Able to lift up to 65 pounds regularly and work outdoors in all weather
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
• CDL Class A with tanker endorsement is a strong plus, or willingness to obtain one
