Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to repair and service mobile equipment including ready-mix trucks, loaders, and trailers. The role involves a 60/40 split between shop and plant mobile repairs in Texas.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 5+ years of mobile equipment maintenance experience; CDL is preferred. Benefits include medical, dental and retirement plans, with strong safety expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years Mobile Equipment/Mobile plant maintenance experience, preferred.
• Trade School or related mechanical certification.
• CDL and safe driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Perform shop and field repairs on mobile equipment and trucks.
• Use diagnostic software for advanced troubleshooting.
• Assist Senior Mechanic and maintain accurate service records.
• Maintain parts inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Follow lock out/tag out and safety procedures.
