Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic in Grants Pass, OR to maintain and repair a fleet of heavy-duty trucks. You will diagnose complex issues, operate advanced diagnostic equipment, and perform preventive maintenance while adhering to safety standards.

The role offers a stable, full-time schedule Monday–Friday with consistent hours and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid vacation and holidays, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment and software.
• Solid knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and drive-train components.
• Valid driver's license required (CDL is an asset but not required).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, inspections, and scheduled services.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine performance issues using advanced diagnostic software and tools.
• Repair and replace components such as engines, fuel systems, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
• Perform DOT inspections and comprehensive vehicle safety inspections.
• Test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians to complete repairs efficiently.

What You'll Do
