Job summary

Florida Detroit Diesel Allison is seeking a Transmission Field Diesel Mechanic II to diagnose and repair diesel transmission systems at customer sites across the Fort Lauderdale area. You will perform standard repairs, troubleshoot issues, and order parts as needed.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining safety standards, and assisting senior field technicians on larger jobs. A GED or HS diploma and 2–4 years related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED with 2–4 years related experience.
• Technical certification in automotive and/or transmission repair required.
• Prior experience with transmission repair required.

Responsibilities

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Certificates & LicensesTechnical certification in automotive and/or transmission repair required.

Prior experience withtransmission repair required.
