United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is hiring a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech II) to perform maintenance and repairs on our rental fleet. You’ll work to ensure safe, reliable equipment and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers opportunities for advancement in our Service Department. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to own and use the necessary tools while collaborating

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience repairing/maintaining vehicles and equipment or trade school graduate.
• Must own tools applicable to position and read schematics/diagrams.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of rental equipment and tools across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and work orders in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate a wide range of complex equipment to customers.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Other duties as needed.
