Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair equipment across a diverse fleet, including aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC and power systems. You will operate in a safety-first environment and join a team dedicated to uptime and customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment, and strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.
