Job summary

Suncore is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic in Idaho to maintain and repair heavy construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders and dump trucks. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and reliability across our fleet.

The ideal candidate has diesel engine experience, can read schematics, and holds a diesel mechanic certification or equivalent hands-on experience. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and diagrams.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
• Experience on heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy machinery.
• Inspect equipment and recommend repairs.
• Troubleshoot engine fault codes with diagnostic tools.
