DuBrook is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair its fleet of ready-mix trucks and heavy equipment in Madison, Wisconsin. A CDL and state inspection license are strongly preferred, with 3+ years of diesel experience and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL strongly preferred.
• State Inspection License preferred (or ability to obtain).
• 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic in construction or concrete environments.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on diesel trucks and heavy equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tire replacements.
• Conduct state inspections and ensure safety and compliance standards.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with road calls and breakdowns as needed.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and in good working order.
• Follow company safety protocols and procedures.
