Job Description:

We are looking for a Shop Foreman specializing in Diesel Mechanics for Heavy Equipment. Responsibilities include:

• Ordering and maintaining inventory of parts.
• Maintaining communication with asset managers to meet objectives.
• Conducting inspections and diagnostic tests to determine equipment condition.
• Performing preventive maintenance, upgrades, and winterization procedures.
• Performing repairs, diagnostics, and inspections.
• Operating shop equipment, troubleshooting, and maintaining supplies.
• Managing costs through warranties and evaluating service options.
• Inventory management and procurement.
• Participating in educational opportunities to update technical knowledge.
• Contributing to the maintenance department’s reputation by ownership and exploring new value-added tasks.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a diesel mechanic working with heavy equipment (e.g., excavators).
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and re-gen systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
• Experience with tractor-trailers preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time
