Job summary

Lone Star Transportation, LLC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a journeyman technician to maintain a large fleet of heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, diagnose issues, and guide entry‑level technicians to keep drivers safe and the operation running smoothly.

You'll work with diagnostic and maintenance software, rely on a complete tool set, and bring at least 1 year of heavy equipment experience; a related associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year in heavy equipment.
• Own and use a complete set of tools required for maintenance.
• Preferred: Associate degree or certification and 2+ years on heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers, including PMs, inspections, and DOT checks.
• Perform corrective maintenance on heavy equipment, e.g., brakes and electrical issues.
• Diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment and reviews repair history.
• Use maintenance software to manage service orders and track repairs.
