Job summary

Urban Infraconstruction LLC is seeking a Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Civil Construction to join our Equipment team. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment, diagnose issues, and minimize downtime in a fast-paced civil construction environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent with diesel tech training and 3+ years in diesel/heavy equipment repair; CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel engine and heavy equipment repair, ideally in construction or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and determine appropriate solutions.
• Inspect and service components such as transmissions, drivetrains, fuel systems, braking systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field and perform timely, effective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to assess system performance and troubleshoot malfunctions.
