D&W Diesel, Inc. in Albany, NY is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team. You will work on diesel engines, fuel systems and driveline components, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; training offered for development.
• Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn on diesel systems.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform basic repairs with proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs on diesel engines, fuel systems and driveline components.
• Upfit hydraulic, pneumatic, and pumping systems on trucks; install PTOs, blowers, and pumps.
• Observe, listen, and follow instructions from senior technicians; communicate effectively.
