SAVARD Personnel Group in Belle Chasse, LA is seeking Diesel Mechanics to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered equipment including forklifts and cranes. The role covers routine maintenance and major overhauls, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a pathway from temp to permanent employment.

Qualifications

Experience inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel powered equipment.
Ability to perform routine maintenance and major repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Familiarity with forklifts, cherry pickers/cranes, and hydraulic equipment.
Ability to use diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and checklists.
Strong record-keeping and communication skills.

Responsibilities
