Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to assist with repairs and maintenance on tractor & trailer equipment at our Martin Brower facility in Walker, LA.

Shift: Full-Time, Wednesday - Saturday, 5:30PM-4:00AM.

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00/hr, depending on experience and skill level.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment, identify root causes of failures, and perform repairs as needed.
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect brake systems and ensure equipment has required licensing and registration.
• Use hand tools and power tools for routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Examine and adjust safety guards, bolts, and safety devices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of related experience.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License to operate company vehicles.
• Own tools (minimum tool requirement).

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Technical School Certification.
