Reyes Fleet Management operates a brand new Martin Brower shop in Enfield, CT, and seeks a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B. This full-time role offers shift options: Wed-Sat 2:00pm–12:30am or Tue-Sat 4:00pm–12:30am.

Pay is $30.00-$33.00/hr, depending on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on fleet equipment, documenting work in AssetWorks, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience.
• Must own tools and valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Able to lift heavy weights and work in a DOT environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Document repairs and parts used in AssetWorks.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Comply with DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management safety policies.
• Drive Reyes vehicles as required; perform other duties as assigned.

Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S.,is seeking aDiesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to perform the repairs and maintenance of our tractor and trailer equipment at our brand new Martin Browershop in Enfield, CT.

Shift:Full-Time l Wednesday-Saturday 2:00pm-12:30am OR Tuesday-Saturday 4:00pm-12:30am

Pay: $30.00-33.00/HR based on experience and qualifications

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurately inspecting, repairing and completing routine preventative maintenance of Fleet Equipment, including standard component inspections and repairs.
• Complete necessary documentation for repairs and maintenance while maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and repairs/inspections completed through the online AssetWorks system.
• Vehicles and Fleet Equipment.
• Learn and assist diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal polices and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices.
• This position requires driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The Driver Qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse review.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 2 plus years of related experience
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess own tools.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
• Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 pounds
