Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of experience working on diesel trucks, preferably in the towing industry.
  • Solid knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel tow trucks.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

Job description

C&L Towing is a fast-paced, family-run operation with a fleet that’s always on the move—and we’re looking for a dependable Diesel Mechanic to keep our trucks in top shape. This isn’t a shop job working on customer vehicles—you’ll be the go-to person for maintaining and repairing our own equipment, making sure our drivers stay safe and our business keeps running smoothly. If you take pride in your work, know how to troubleshoot problems before they turn into breakdowns, and want to be part of a company that values quality and reliability, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on our diesel tow trucks
  2. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  3. Keep service records up to date
  4. Help us keep the fleet reliable, safe, and on the road
Qualifications:
  1. 3–7 years of experience working on diesel trucks (towing industry experience is a plus)
  2. Solid knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, etc.
  3. Ability to work independently and efficiently
  4. Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, but not required)
  5. Must provide your own tools
Compensation:

$30 - $35 hourly
