Job summary

Ring's End, Inc. of Darien, CT is hiring a full-time Diesel Mechanic to maintain a fleet of diesel trucks, forklifts and service vehicles. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs and keep accurate maintenance records to ensure safe, reliable operation.

The ideal candidate has a CDL Class B license, 5+ years of diesel and gas engine experience, strong hydraulics knowledge and familiarity with computerized systems. ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license required.
• 5+ years' experience with diesel and gas engines, hydraulics and computer systems including International and Cummins.
• Clean driving record required.
• ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment including diesel trucks, forklifts, vans and passenger vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain inventory of preventative parts and keep meticulous maintenance records.
• Travel to parts of Connecticut, Eastern New York or Rhode Island may be required.
