Job summary

Deep Well Services is seeking skilled Mechanics to join our Maintenance team, supporting field operations and shop repairs on diesel-powered heavy equipment, trailers, and hydraulic systems. This role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, and providing troubleshooting support to ensure safety and quality on-site.

Expect a local position with a 75% shop and 25% field work split, plus on-call requirements.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
One (1) to five (5+) years of verifiable diesel mechanic experience; oilfield experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, including Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, Cummins, and Allison systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, hydraulic systems, and oilfield equipment.
Diagnose and repair emissions systems, including DEF, DPF, and Tier 4 engines.
Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software, including CAT SIS, Cummins INSIGHT, and Allison Diagnostic Software.
Perform hydraulic troubleshooting, component replacement, and system rebuilds.
Complete field service repairs utilizing a company service truck.
Inspect equipment and identify mechanical deficiencies before failure occurs.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inspection documentation.
