Job summary

Fletcher Jones Automotive Group in Henderson, NV, is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain diesel engines and vehicles to ensure peak performance and customer satisfaction.

You will use diagnostic tools, follow dealership and manufacturer standards, and work with a supportive team to meet high productivity and quality targets. Strong diesel system knowledge and a valid driver’s license are required, with training and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Degree or Certificate from a trade school preferred.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, components and diagnostics.
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues in diesel engines and vehicles.
• Conduct thorough inspections of diesel engines and vehicles to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and resolve complex engine problems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
