Job summary

Excel Truck Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking experienced Diesel Technicians to join our team. You will work with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and Cummins equipment, performing maintenance and repairs to keep our customers on the road.

Qualifications

• Experience as a diesel truck technician.
• Certifications are a plus and can earn you an increase in wages.
• Completion of a Diesel technician school and certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled maintenance.
• Ideally certified to perform State Inspections and CDL.
• Prepares shop work orders on equipment repair.
• Computer experience.
• Cleans shop and surrounding work areas.
• Promotes cooperation and teamwork.
• Willing to train and maintain certifications necessary as ongoing technician training and development.
• Able to embrace our Elite Support & Safety Culture.
• Must have your own tools.

If you have experience as a diesel truck technician, we want to hear from you. Certifications are a plus and can earn you an increase in wages. Experience with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and/or Cummins ideal but not required. Completion of a Diesel technician school and certification desired.
