Job summary

Bluegrass Stream LLC in Louisiana is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect brakes and steering, and document repairs and parts used.

The role also involves installing onboard computers, routine maintenance such as oil changes and battery checks, and using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of proven experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and A/C refrigeration (minimum 2 years).
• Strong knowledge of brake systems, electronic components, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent documentation skills and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspect brake systems, steering, and other critical parts.
• Document repairs and parts used with accuracy.
• Install and repair onboard computers; perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and battery checks.
• Utilize hand and power tools; may perform road call services and train other employees.
