Join to apply for the Diesel Mechanic Class C role at Academy Bus.

Academy Bus is seeking a full-time Class C Diesel Mechanic for our new Perth Amboy, NJ location.
$2500 Sign-On Bonus. Every Friday is pay day!
Day and Night Shifts available.

Responsibilities:

• Repair, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of modern tour buses
• Reconditioning, preventative and routine maintenance
• General lubrication functions such as: Oil/filters, air filters, chassis lubrication, transmission fluids/filters, differential fluids, axel/wheels
• Inspection, installation, disassembly, and cleaning of components under supervision such as: Brake components, suspension components, tires, and seats
• Warranty and repair documentation
• Assist A and B Level Mechanics with skilled work

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of hands-on experience, diesel engine maintenance preferred
• Minimum personal tool value $2000
• Proven ability to use hand tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks, and testing instruments
• Valid driver's license
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
