Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced 1st shift Diesel Mechanic for our Fleet Maintenance team in Elkridge, MD. The role involves maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company’s fleet of Class 8 trucks, with a 7:00 AM start and Monday–Friday schedule.

Earn $30–$45 per hour based on experience, with weekly pay via direct deposit and overtime after 40 hours. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• A complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair.
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a “can-do” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshooting and repairing brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
