Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Northeast, MD shop. This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company’s fleet.

The position offers a 3:00PM start time, a $2.00 shift differential, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshooting and repairing brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
