Job summary

Dohrn Transfer is hiring a full-time Diesel Mechanic at our Centerville, MN terminal. Earn up to $42.06 per hour with a 4-day work week option and shifts across all hours.

The role involves servicing Dohrn fleet vehicles, with training available for incentives and a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, 401(k) matching, life insurance, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• A minimum age of 18.
• High School completion or equivalent.
• Valid Driver License and ability to communicate in English.
• Must pass a non-DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• Journey-level diesel mechanic experience preferred; CDL/ASE certifications preferred.
• Ability to work in a team or independently with excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect mechanical equipment to diagnose defects.
• Analyze malfunctions and perform general overhaul, tune up or preventive maintenance.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment.
• Plan work procedure using charges, technical manuals and experience.
• Repair, replace and adjust necessary units and parts.
• Enter labor lines and parts into repair order system.
• May travel to other shop locations when staff is needed.
• React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
