Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in Greencastle, PA is seeking an experienced 3rd shift Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team.

You will diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on our Class 8 trucks to keep the fleet safe and productive. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years’ repair experience, a complete set of heavy‑duty hand tools, and Vocational/Technical training in diesel mechanics; a HS Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• A complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair.
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a “can-do” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshooting and repairing brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, skilled 3rd shift Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Greencastle, PA shop.This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company’s fleet.
