Silver Eagle Distributors Houston, LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Technician (1pm - 9:45pm, Monday–Friday) to maintain and repair all company vehicles, including gasoline, diesel, electric and propane models. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues and perform repairs to propulsion, drivetrains and bodies as needed.

This role offers a quarterly performance bonus and competitive starting pay based on experience.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Automotive/Mechanical Trade or Vocational certification preferred.
• 2+ years of Diesel/Automotive Technician experience.
• Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
• In person travel within the service territories of Silver Eagle required.
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Must supply automotive hand tools (not including heavy duty or diagnostic tools).
• 3+ ASE certifications.
• Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack, electric forklift.
• Able to obtain and maintain Class C or A-CDL, and medical card.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
• Must have the ability to operate both manual and standard transmissions.

Mansioni

• Trouble shoots and repairs mechanical malfunctions
• Diagnoses mechanical malfunctions, determines parts needed and orders through the parts rooms
• Repairs engines, drive trains, front and rear ends, all air, electrical and hydraulic systems on Company owned equipment
• Repairs, on a minor and/or emergency basis, parts of bodies, i.e., doors, landing gear, etc
• Repairs all Company fork lifts
• Makes road calls on disabled Company vehicles and performs minor repairs on the road
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis as determined by Fleet Supervisor
• Inspects vehicle to ensure all D.O.T. requirements are met
• Repairs all items not meeting D.O.T. requirements; informs supervisor if not immediately repairable
• Performs other tasks/projects as instructed by Fleet Supervisor
• Adheres to safe working practices; reports hazards
• Other duties as assigned
