GFL Environmental Inc. in the United States is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to service a fleet of heavy-duty equipment. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and aftertreatment components to keep vehicles humming.

The role demands hands-on problem solving in a busy shop environment. The starting pay is $30-$35 per hour with overtime after 40 hours and a 3pm–2am M-F schedule. We offer tool and boot allowances, health benefits, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic systems on large fleet vehicles.
• Willingness to operate in a fast-paced shop environment.
• CDL aspirants encouraged to pursue credentials.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related subsystems.
• Maintain hydraulic systems and front-loaders/compactors in the fleet.
• Use diagnostic tools to interface with vehicle controllers.
• Collaborate with team in a high-energy shop setting.
