A. Duie Pyle, Inc. is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Diesel Technician at their Maspeth, NY shop. This role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• Vocational or technical training in diesel or heavy-duty vehicles is preferred.
• Must possess a complete set of hand tools for a heavy-duty truck technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs to heavy-duty trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, and electrical components.
• Diagnose and repair engine and exhaust after-treatment systems.

Job description

Position

A. Duie Pyle is looking for an experienced, skilled 2nd shift Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Maspeth, NY shop.

Pay & Shift

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour based upon experience and skillset.

Shift Differential: $3.00 per hour.

3:00 PM start time, Monday through Friday.

Overtime pay after 40 hours.

Weekly pay via direct deposit.

Company‑funded tool reimbursement program.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs to heavy‑duty trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnose and perform necessary repairs to the engine, electrical, and exhaust after‑treatment systems.
• Inspect and replace general components as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• A complete set of hand tools for a heavy‑duty truck technician.
• Vocational or technical training in diesel or heavy‑duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a "can‑do" attitude.
