Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Richmond, VA shop. You will maintain, diagnose, and repair Class 8 trucks, performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs across brakes, air systems, electricals, and exhaust after-treatment systems.

Minimum 2 years’ experience and a complete set of heavy-duty tools are required. HS diploma preferred but not required; must be able to work independently with a can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• A complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair.
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a “can-do” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnose and perform repairs to engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Inspect and replace general components as required.

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, skilled 2nd shift Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Richmond, VAshop.This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company’s fleet.
