Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service is seeking an experienced automotive technician to perform diesel and passenger vehicle maintenance, oil changes, tire service, and inspections. You will diagnose issues, service brakes and suspensions, and ensure equipment is properly maintained in a busy shop setting.

Qualifications

• Diesel mechanical knowledge/experience required.
• Passenger automotive knowledge/experience required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrench and other essential tools.
• Ability to lift, push, carry, and/or move a maximum of 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oil changes, tire alignments, brake and shock replacements, and other essential mechanic services
• Install, maintain, and replace tires as needed
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of tools and equipment
• Diagnose customer concerns and inspect vehicles for potential issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Additional tasks as assigned by manager
