• 2-4 years of experience in diesel mechanics preferred.
• ASE Certification and Cummins Engine Repair Certification are a plus.

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform repairs efficiently and accurately according to dealership and factory standards.
2. Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
3. Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
4. Follow protocols for warranty work or customer requests.
5. Examine vehicles for safety or additional service needs.
6. Communicate repair updates and delays to service advisors/dispatchers.
7. Document all work performed and recommendations.
8. Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned.
9. Report machinery defects or malfunctions.
10. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and notify of any changes.
11. Maintain dealership tools and manuals responsibly.
12. Comply with safety and environmental regulations.
13. Stay updated with manufacturer technical bulletins.
14. Operate tools and equipment safely and report safety issues.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience or training
• ASE Certification (a plus)
• Cummins Engine Repair Certification (a plus)
• Basic computer skills
• High School Diploma; college or technical training preferred
• Valid CDL license (a plus)
