Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Ryder in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

• Hourly Pay: $26.00 per hour
• Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE Certification obtained, up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500 every quarter
• Sign-On Bonus: $1250 at 30 days and $1250 at 90 days
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends off
• Hours: Second shift, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Vocational or technical certifications (preferred)
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine maintenance
• Two or more years of related classroom training and work experience (preferred)
• Valid CDL Class A (preferred)

This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. To become a Ryder employee, you must:

• Obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background check, and motor vehicle check

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs

• Replace defective components
• Assist with facility maintenance
