Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing in Gladewater, TX seeks an experienced Diesel Mechanic to repair and maintain our fleet, including tractor-trailers, loaders, forklifts and trailers, reporting to the Lead Mechanic. Pay is $20-$22/hour, DOE, with a stable daytime schedule of 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

This role requires hands-on diesel and mechanical troubleshooting, the ability to work independently, and reliable attendance. Company-provided tools and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience on tractor-trailers, forklifts and loaders.
• Strong diesel and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently and maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, forklifts, and loaders.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
• Complete scheduled inspections and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate equipment needs to the Lead Mechanic.

Diesel Mechanic

Pay: $20-$22/hr+ DOE

Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This position reports to the Lead Mechanic and is responsible for the repair and maintenance of our fleet, including tractor-trailers, loaders, forklifts, and trailers.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, forklifts, and loaders
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues
• Complete scheduled inspections and maintenance
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate equipment needs to the Lead Mechanic
• Follow all company safety procedures

Requirements:

• Experience working on tractor-trailers, forklifts, and loaders is required
• Strong diesel and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
