Job description

We are looking for experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Vero Beach. This is a full-time, day shift position working Monday through Friday. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing diesel-powered equipment including pumps, generators, and vehicles. This is a hands-on role requiring strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in the field and in the shop. Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and systems
• Perform routine maintenance on pumps, generators, and heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot and replace defective parts using proper tools and diagnostic equipment
• Travel to job sites for on-site service and emergency repairs
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of diesel engine repair experience (pumps or heavy equipment)
• Strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
• Must have own tools and a valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
