Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a heavy-duty diesel truck mechanic to safely operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain company-owned or leased trucks and equipment. Starting pay is $27-$35/hr with overtime after 40 hours and a 5am-3pm shift, Monday through Friday.

ASE testing is paid for and raises occur after certs are earned. Responsibilities include daily inspections, diagnosing issues, and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTOs, and other components to keep the

• Experience maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose issues and troubleshoot diesel refuse trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to keep fleet ready for daily operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely Starting Pay: $27-$35/hr More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level. Shift: 5am-3pm M-F. Overtime after 40hrs worked We pay for ASE testing! Once you get your certs is .50 bump per T Series ASE.
