Job summary

Titan Machinery in Torrington, WY is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain Case IH diesel equipment, ensuring reliability and high-quality workmanship. The role requires travel to offsite training facilities and the candidate must supply their own tools.

You will collaborate with the service team and customers, document findings clearly, and follow safety rules while pursuing ongoing training and professional growth in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience or an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology.
• Willingness to travel to offsite training facilities, as needed.
• Must have own tools.
• Keen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and recondition diesel equipment to manufacturer specifications and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines with the Service Manager, service team, and customers clearly and professionally.
• Pursue ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities; identify customer service opportunities and recommend solutions.
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments.

Overview

Join the Titan Machinery team as a Case IH Diesel Mechanic and leverage your expertise to deliver exceptional service for diesel machinery diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality and efficient workmanship
• Documentation and Communication: Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly and professionally with the Service Manager, service team, and customers while providing timely and courteous service
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities. Identify customer service opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and support department profitability
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments
