MasterTech in Sugar Grove, IL is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy utility vehicles primarily in shop with some field service. Training is provided on hire, and experience on heavy trucks and equipment is preferred.

The position requires a CDL-B or a clean driving record, with a compensation range of $30.00–$45.00 per hour based on experience, certifications, and education background.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Degree in Diesel Technology/Diesel Technician or equivalent.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean record (CDL B preferred, not required).

Compensation:

Shift:

Job Description:

Heavy Equipment Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of specialized utility vehicles in shop mainly, and in field service environments on occasion. Factory and OEM training is offered upon hire. Mechanics with backgrounds working on heavy trucks, heavy equipment, and or utility vehicles (sweepers, refuse/garbage trucks, snow plows, etc.) are preferred.

Key Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Degree in Diesel Technology/Diesel Technician or equivalent.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
