United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) in the Fluid division. You’ll perform maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, troubleshoot, and deliver safe, professional service to customers.

This role offers opportunities for advancement within our Service Department, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and customer service as you support on-site at customer locations.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of pump repair and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background with engines.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Tools required for the position.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

As a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) within the Fluid division at United Rentals, you’ll use your skills to perform maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of pumps. Every day, you can improve and challenge yourself, and if you have the desire and ambition, you’ll have the potential to work towards higher level Tech roles in our Service Department. Like every member of our team, we will rely on you to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.

What you’ll do:

• Perform service documentation
• Train lower level Technicians
• Demonstrate equipment for customers
• Travel to customer sites
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining pumps of various sizes, capacities and manufacturers
• Knowledge of construction equipment
• Strong mechanical background knowledge particularly with various engines
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Own the tools applicable to position
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
