Job summary

Advance Fleet Services LLC in Olive Branch, MS is seeking experienced Diesel Technicians to service heavy-duty equipment (class 3–8). You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure safe operation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles (class 3–8).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using computer programs.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components.
• Weld and solder as necessary for repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns.
• Maintain accurate notes on repair orders.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment; participate in occasional roadside service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles (class 3 - 8).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using computer programs.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components.
• Weld and solder as necessary for repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns.
• Maintain accurate notes on repair orders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to provide own tools and toolbox.
• Familiarity with DOT inspections, air systems, electrical diagnostics, and repairs.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• EPA 608-609 license, ASE certification, and CDL preferred but not required.
• Experience with programs such as Cummins Insite, Tech Tool, and JPRO is a plus.
