Qualifications

• Prior background in heavy-duty or diesel mechanical repair is preferred.
• Proven experience servicing diesel trucks, trailers, agricultural machinery, or fleet vehicles.
• Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems.
• Capacity to interpret technical diagrams, repair manuals, and complex schematics.
• Proficiency in operating various mechanical tools and diagnostic hardware.
• Ability to contribute to team goals while working autonomously.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Formal training or certifications are beneficial, though we place a high value on practical, hands‑on experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and fix complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions.
• Restore or swap out critical parts like transmissions, engines, steering systems, brakes, and suspension.
• Complete standard service tasks such as fluid checks, filter swaps, and oil changes.
• Proactively detect potential equipment failures to help minimize costly downtime.
• Utilize specialized diagnostic software and standard shop tools to perform precise repairs.
• Document all service history and maintenance activities thoroughly.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by following all safety protocols.
• Support the shop with various maintenance tasks as the workload demands.

Compensation and Availability

• Hourly rate ranging from $25 to $30, commensurate with your specific skills and background
