Job summary

Firematic Supply Co. is seeking a hands-on technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles. You will perform skilled maintenance on automotive, medium and heavy-duty trucks, including EMS and Rescue division vehicles, and operate on a range of small gas engines and related equipment.

The role requires a self-starter with a positive attitude. CDL-B with Air Brakes or the willingness to obtain within the first year is needed, plus knowledge of up-to-date

Qualifications

• Self-starter with positive can-do attitude.
• Knowledge of Diesel engines preferred.
• CDL B with Air Brakes or willingness to obtain within first year.
• Knowledge of up-to-date methods for maintaining autos, trucks and emergency vehicles.
• ASE and/or EVT certifications a plus.
• Full-time position, Monday - Friday 7:00-3:30.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Diagnose, repair and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles. Perform skilled work in maintaining automotive, medium and heavy-duty trucks, to include all Fire Division and Rescue (EMS) Division vehicles, including small gas engines and other associated equipment.

Requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Self-starter with positive can-do attitude

Knowledge of Diesel engines preferred

Valid class CDL B drivers license with Air Brakes or willingness to obtain within the first year

Knowledge of up-to-date methods of maintaining autos, trucks and emergency vehicles preferred

ASE and/or EVT certifications a plus

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 7:00-3:30.

Starting rate $25-35/hr depending on experience and certifications
