I-State Truck Center is looking for talented Diesel Mechanic/Technician(s) of all skill levels for our Farmington Minnesota location. This position is Full-Time, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm, no nights, no weekends!

Pay Range: Starting at $18.00-$30.00 per hour DOE

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on Gas and Diesel Buses and Vans
  • Services and repairs on equipment such as engines, transmissions, brakes, air compressors, fuel systems, ignitions, HVAC, and Wheelchair lifts
  • Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all heavy-duty components
  • Positive interface with service writers, foreman, parts department, and customers
  • Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion
  • Meet requirements for certifications
Desired Qualities/Skills
  • Technical degree or certification a plus
  • Experience working with diesel engines and/or heavy-duty trucks
  • Experience with Cummins Diesel or Detroit Diesel is preferred
  • The desire to take advantage of certification opportunities to have the most updated product training
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
