Job summary

Foreman Sales and Service, Inc. in Colton, SD, is hiring a diesel mechanic for our bus fleet. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose diesel engines, and complete repairs from brakes to drivetrains.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree or diploma in diesel engines or hands-on experience, with strong attention to detail, organization, and reliable attendance; must be able to work independently.

Qualifications

• Must have a technical degree, certificate or diploma in diesel engines, or experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Ability to work independently and maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to identify faults.
• Perform all phases of vehicle repair including brakes, suspensions, engines, drivetrains, transmissions, and lighting system components.
• Ensure attention to detail and reliable attendance; communicate effectively with the team.

Foreman Sales and Service, Inc., Colton, SD, is immediately hiring a diesel mechanic for our bus fleet. Responsibilities include but not limited to performing preventative maintenance, conducting diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to find faults, performing all phases of vehicle repair including brakes, suspensions, engines, drivetrains, transmissions, lighting system components and other repairs.

Attention to details, good organization and communication skills. Dependable, reliable attendance and must be able to work independently.

Technical degree, certificate or diploma in diesel engines, or experience as a diesel mechanic.

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time position
• $80,000 plus per year. Wage is DOE
