As a Technician at First Student, you will play an integral role in ensuring the safety of the children who count on us for a ride to and from school in those classic yellow buses.

About the Mechanic Position

Technicians perform maintenance to ensure our fleet of newer vehicles is safe for travel. Tasks include troubleshooting issues and performing repairs such as brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, & transmissions, completing work orders, and assisting with mobile emergency services. All technicians are subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee.
