Job summary

Integrity Trade Services is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in the Los Angeles area to diagnose, repair, and overhaul marine diesel engines and related systems. The role includes routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to marine safety standards, with work occurring on-site at the vessel or engine room.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience, familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and the ability to work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in a marine or maritime environment.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul marine diesel engines and related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, valve adjustments, and cooling system service.
• Repair and maintain fuel, air, exhaust, and lubrication systems.
• Inspect and service gearboxes, transmissions, shafts, and propulsion systems.
• Test engines and mechanical components; read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Conduct emergency and corrective repairs to minimize vessel downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Follow all marine safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with vessel crews, supervisors, and inspectors as needed.

Pay: $28.00
Shift: 7am to 4pm M-F
Location: St. Rose, LA.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul marine diesel engines and related systems
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, valve adjustments, and cooling system service
• Repair and maintain fuel, air, exhaust, and lubrication systems
• Inspect and service gearboxes, transmissions, shafts, and propulsion systems
• Test engines and mechanical components; read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
